You can help.
Ticket sales account for less than 40% of any film festival budget (and the IBFF is so much more than just a film festival…)—sponsorships, foundation grants and contributions from generous supporters like you are what make the IBFF possible. By design, we have a very low overhead, a distributed infrastructure, and a largely volunteer staff, so nearly all revenues go directly into programs and services. Please consider a gift to the IBFF today; any amount you can give is meaningful and will make a difference.
BFS is a California-chartered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donations may be made via check mailed to Buddhist Film Society, Inc., P.O. Box 3070, Oakland, CA 94609-0070, USA, or by credit card. Please call 510-601-5111.
You can participate.
Volunteers are always needed for each IBFF event (see Events) and for BFS outreach programs in the Bay Area. Email, write or call in your interest in getting involved.
You can spread the word.
Invite your employer to become one of our sponsors (see Sponsorship), or approach your local museum, college or community organization to become an IBFF co-presenter (see Hosting IBFF) in your city. Please point your friends and colleagues to www.ibff.org.
